Abstract

This study examines the role of the Constitutional Court of Colombia and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, regarding the power of the Attorney General of the Nation emanated by the Political Constitution in its article 277 Regarding the dismissal and / or inability of public servants elected by popular vote, since these are holders of rights and obligations, but also makes them worthy of sanctions as established by the Single Disciplinary Code, is how to analyze specific cases to determine whether said Constitutional power exceeds its functions, or is the only one empowered to perform them.
