Embarazo adolescente y su impacto en el acceso a un empleo formal, una aproximación al caso colombiano

Abstract

The purpose of this document is to conduct a review documentary, which allows compiling the fundamental concepts of adolescent pregnancy and the impact it has on formal employment in Colombia, also describes the health programs implemented to reduce teenage pregnancies and their degree of effectiveness, deduce their shortcomings and strengths making a comparison with different processes applied in the United States, observing the degree of success in each of them. Encompassing the subject at continental, national and departmental level, analyzing the trajectory of recent years, the behavior of this phenomenon, determining its real causes to later analyze the effectiveness of each of the programs found, what have been its shortcomings time to reduce the number of cases and if the objectives have really been met. It also explains in a detailed way the negative effects such as the consequences that go from the difficulties for the individuals and how they affect the society, touching subjects like the limitation in the opportunities of learning and development of the young adolescents that relapses in the interruption of the development professional of a population, without leaving aside the health difficulties presented by maternal adolescents. Putting to reflect on the different factors that influence pregnancy during adolescence and the different prevention strategies that exist, addressing the importance of prevention, and the effectiveness of the implementation of these programs in order to create a document that contributes to the continuous search and the correct approach at the moment of approaching the plans and programs that help to overcome this type of problem.
