La ansiedad en la vida del ser humano
constituye la piedra angular en el
desarrollo de su ciclo vital, ya que
permite el impulso de acciones
dependiendo el contexto en que este se
encuentre, lo patológico de todo lo
anterior, es cuando esta se mantiene en
el tiempo, se cronifica y se convierte en
desadaptativa.
Hoy por hoy, uno de los trastornos más
comunes de la era moderna es el
trastorno de Ansiedad, el cual se puede
volver incapacitante y desadaptativo
llevando al individuo a un estado de
enajenación mental; e ahí la importancia
del diagnóstico y la intervención
temprana. En este campo es importante
señalar la necesidad de escoger un
tratamiento psicológico eficaz cuyo
objetivo sea el de resignificar los
contenidos ansiosos en el individuo, con
el fin de generar una activación
conductual proporcional a la amenaza o
el peligro objetivo.
El siguiente artículo hace una reflexión
que va desde lo general, partiendo del
concepto de ansiedad, sus orígenes,
factores de mantenimiento,
sintomatología; también se ilustran las
raíces de la Terapia Cognitivo
Conductual (TCC) haciendo un breve
recorrido histórico de su formación, y
termina en lo particular aterrizando la
TCC en el manejo terapéutico y su
intervención frente a los trastornos de
ansiedad en el adulto, tomando también
el tema de la neuroimagen como medida
de eficacia en la intervención
previamente mencionada.
Anxiety in human life is the cornerstone
in the development of its life cycle, as it
allows the impulse of actions depending
on the context in which it is located, the
pathological of all the above, is when it
is maintained in time, is chroniced and
becomes disadaptive.
Today, one of the most common
disorders of the modern era is anxiety
disorder, which can become disabling
and disadaptive leading the individual
to a state of mental alienation; hence the
importance of early diagnosis and
intervention. In this field it is important
to note the need to choose an effective
psychological treatment whose
objective is to re-signify the anxious
contents in the individual, in order to
generate a behavioral activation
proportional to the threat or the target
danger.
The following article gives a reflection
that goes from the general, based on the
concept of anxiety, its origins,
maintenance factors, symptomatology;
it also illustrates the roots of Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CCT) by taking a
brief historical tour of its training, and
ends in particular by landing CTE in
therapeutic management and its
intervention against anxiety disorders in
the adult, taking also the issue of
neuroimaging as a measure of
effectiveness in the above-mentioned
intervention
